Students at Kingsmead School have been busy preparing for the upcoming Enterprise Fair taking place on Saturday 11 July 2026.
Since May half term, our Year 5 and Year 6 students have been working on an exciting enterprise project designed to develop their creativity, problem-solving and financial awareness. Each student was given a budget of £10 and challenged to research product ideas, plan their spending, purchase resources and create a product to sell at the fair.
Throughout the project, students have demonstrated excellent teamwork, decision-making and entrepreneurial skills. From selecting products and managing budgets to creating and marketing their items, they have taken ownership of every stage of the process.
Our Year 3 and Year 4 students are also playing an important role in the event by organising and running a range of fun games stalls for visitors to enjoy.
The Enterprise Fair will be a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their hard work while gaining valuable real-life experience in enterprise, communication and customer service. We look forward to welcoming families and members of the local community to support our young entrepreneurs and enjoy the stalls, games and refreshments on offer.
