Recently students in Years 9,10 and 11 expressed an interest in trying different exotic meats.
As part of out curriculum we encourage our students to try new things so ordered horse, zebra, crocodile, ostrich, wild boar and kangaroo burgers, sausages and steaks for them to try. Students cooked the meats and tried samples of what they felt comfortable eating. We evaluated the taste, texture and made comparisons to other meats.
The students all did very well and were brave to try new foods!
