We are thrilled to announce that our very own PE teacher Paul Allen, has been appointed as the Assistant Coach for the England Men’s Deaf Cricket Team! This achievement not only highlights Paul’s professional accomplishments but also brings pride to our entire school community. It serves as an inspiration to our students, demonstrating the heights that can be reached through hard work, passion, and perseverance.

Paul shared his excitement about the upcoming tour:

“I am incredibly proud to have played and captained my country. Being an assistant coach is a fantastic opportunity, and I am excited for the tour. It’ll be strange being away from the students, and it’s been an amazing year for them. We have won an Indoor Athletics tournament, Year 11 have played against Bemrose School at football, and we have competed in two football festivals for KS3. I look forward to contributing to the team’s success and gaining valuable experiences that I can bring back to our school community.”
