We are thrilled to share some incredible news about Paul, our fantastic Physical Activity teacher. Paul is also the Head Coach of the Pirates, a talented team that has reached the finals of the Disability Premier League!
The Pirates will play on the 13th September 2024 at the iconic Sophia Gardens, an international cricket ground known for hosting major sporting events. This isn’t just any match – it will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from 12 PM, giving everyone the chance to cheer them on!
Paul’s leadership has helped guide the Pirates through a remarkable season. They finished at the top of their group with a perfect record of 6 wins out of 6, showcasing their skill, teamwork, and determination. This will be the team’s third consecutive appearance in the league finals, and after finishing as runners-up in the last two seasons, they are more determined than ever to bring home the championship!
The match is set to take place just before the highly anticipated England vs. Australia game, making this an exciting day for sports fans.
